I come to J&A for all of my shoe repair needs. After years of working with other shoe repair outfits and other places like dry cleaners that outsource, I found the best quality and service here. I've had caps replaced, bags reinforced, soles replaced and boots refinished here and can't say enough about the quality of the work. The owner is negotiable on timing and highly professional. Literally the sweetest owner ever! Brought in my Frye boots because the heel pad had come off during my lunch break. He asked me if I had ten minutes and within THREE minutes he fixed it and even put reinforcing nails in my other shoe to prevent that one from having issues in the future too! Best shoe repair in town and highly recommend!! Glad I came in today!
The guy is really nice but destroyed my Velez Leather Satchel. The stitching looked like it was done by a six year old, upon his receiving of the Satchel, he had told me that it would turn out like new once he re-stiched it, but upon my arrival he told me that he is an expert in shoes not handbags. Now the Satchel is good for picking strawberries and his only remedy was to remove all that he had done once he got paid. How lovely !!!
Really did a pretty good job with my heel. Will be back soon with more repairs.
