Good for kids
I have two children that are students at Michigan Rock School. I cannot say enough good things about the program! The instruction is fantastic and it has really ignited their love for music. The quarterly concert series is so cool! I really enjoyed seeing them up on stage and how it brought out their inner rock star! John and his staff really have something awesome going! We feel so lucky to be a part of it.

John and his team put so much into their students. My son plays in one of the level 2 bands and we look forward to going to practice every week. The opportunities and guidance my son has received since joining have been nothing short of amazing. If you are looking for a great environment to learn about music, your instrument of choice, and teamwork, I could not think of a better group of people to trust.
I had never played an instrument before and, in my 40s I've finally decided to start playing the electric guitar. John has such an extensive knowledge of music and built our lessons around my own musical interests. I still can’t believe he had me playing songs I like in just a few weeks. He is a terrific teacher and I would recommend his classes to anyone who was interested in learning to play the guitar, at any age.
Highly recommend! My son has learned so much through his guitar lessons at Michigan Rock School. Their instructors are knowledgeable, patient and professional. They can accommodate all skill levels and even offer the option to perform live. Five stars
My daughter has been taking voice lessons and is LOVING it! My husband took her once to class and left having signed up for guitar lessons! lol. Staff is passionate and knowledgeable ️
