Awesome place. Knowledgeable staff. Bought a tortoise from here. Staff helped me with the know how on taking care of him. Didn't notice the spiders the first time but the second time kept an eye in case I had to run out the door if one got loose

Great place with very knowledgeable workers who are willing to help you understand both your pet and the responsibilities that come with owning one. Jason the owner is very nice and truly cares about animal. If you are looking to get a small animal or reptiles. He is the place to go. We inherited a snake from a family member and we go to him to get feeder mice and check out all the cool pets he has in stock. If you new to wanting reptiles especially, stop by here some time and see what there is to know!
I am so disappointed, I have been coming here for years and I love the staff and stock they carry but having gone in for the first time since the pandemic started I was disappointed to find NO ONE is taking care to stay socially distant or wear masks properly. So disappointed and discussed honestly. Have some respect for your customers and at least try to keep them safe!
They were very helpful. I had gone there to buy a certain kind of fish but was advised against it and their advice was valuable. I was able to make a much better decision on my purchases and will be returning.
Great service and beautiful fish. Every time I go here, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They also have an incredible fish, mammal, and reptile selection for feeder and ornamental purposes. I've seen fish there I haven't even heard of, and they're all conveniently priced. Even the expensive ones are a relatively good deal compared to other stores. Animal island is 100% my go-to pet store.
