The other day I had an issue where I needed a welfare check on someone and the Milwaukee Police Department was extremely responsive, thoughtful, and fast. They also made sure to get back to me and make sure everything was OK. They went above and beyond! Thank you

I remember around 82 or 83 when y'all would cruise through the neighborhood handing out baseball card packs to the kids like myself playing outside. Man I wish I kept those cards instead of being more interested in that stick of gum they came with.

I tried calling several times (4 to be exact and tried different lines as well) to report a car on my street,the horn was going off for almost three hours and the owner was out of town..I couldn’t personally get them to answer on the lines I was calling and ended up getting my property manager to call and it was finally taken care of..I feel that this was pretty ridiculous (even tho it’s a non-emergent issue I still want to feel I can get in contact if needed) and I wish they could have just dealt with me as my property manager has enough on his hands to deal with something so irritating.

I back the badge. What I don’t back are the meter maids. Word to the wise. Milwaukee county police do not care if your car has been parked in front of your house and has had your parking permit displayed for a year. If it is slightly unreadable one time they will write you a ticket. Forget about appealing. They just want your money. Glad to be moving out of Milwaukee. Crime is rising, and the department can’t even be bothered to work with and help out its law abiding citizens. Thank you to all the REAL officers in Milwaukee for all you do. You are the only good thing about Milwaukee.
