I've tried for weeks to get someone to return my calls and messages with information. We are looking to purchase a home and already own land. If they can't even return calls to sell something then that worries me about even purchasing from them. If I ever needed to call them for any concerns or issues they wouldn't call me back. A shame to because they sell the home we are most interested in.

If i could it would be a -5 . My home has been sitting on my property for 5 months now took 3 months for the drywall guys to start. Just finished last friday. The live oak manufactures are yet to come to do the finishing touches and repair and replace whats needed to be. These guys were supposed to have my home ready to move in 3 weeks after it was delivered (GENE) said . Alfonso and Kaitlyn keeps saying next week next week. Still no show, first it was because of the bad weather, now they are just waiting to hear back from the factory. I've made 4 payments and still cant move into my home. Got in touch with the live oak manufactures today. Guess what. NO WORK ORDER PUT IN. REALLY. My husband had to fix most of the plumbing to get approved for lights. The tile is coming up in the master bath. The sink in the guest bathroom is cracked. They laid the tile over objects on the floor. No shower head master bath. No glass dome for the light fixture in guest bathroom. No tile edging in kitchen. Cracked cabinet in kitchen. Bad knicks in tile. Light fixtures arent working in living room and master bath. No cut out for the return air grill over master bedroom door. No door to separate to laundry room and dining area. But yet all the cut outs doors and fixers is on the blue print. Water damage on bathroom door. Omg. I could go on but i think you get the point.
Not too thrilled with the service. Tired of the run around and I showed up before they close during the times they advertise online and on the building and they are telling me that they are closed already and they can't help me. People get off work early to try and get this kind of stuff done and it's a complete slap in the face to be turned away when you're trying to give them your business. Pretty close to taking my business elsewhere.
The costumer service sucks at Oakwood homes. I requested a quote for the price of a home three weeks ago and still no response . I called three times and spoke with several different people but still no price. Instead they asked me questions like have you spoken with a lender. Why is it so hard to get a base price on a home? I think it's because I'm black and they thought I couldn't afford the home. I will never buy a home from Oakwood Homes. I felt belittled and insulted.
