I'm not sure if this Hoy-Ka location has any relation to the Thai town location. If it does, then this is a really disappointing second location. If there's no relation, then this is a really bad knock-off. Everything was on the super sweet side. The Hoy-Ka soup noodle was sweet, the pad-thai was sweet, the yellow curry was sweet. The only thing we ordered that wasn't sweet was the grilled pork appetizer. I thought thai food was suppose to be spicy, but this place was far from spicy.

Love this place! Especially the new Lao dishes they have added onto their menu, can't say there are any other Lao restaurants in the 626/ San Gabriel/ LA area. I love their pad kee mao, pad see ew, pineapple fried rice, and ka pao fried rice. You can't beat the flavorful spices this places uses. Can't wait to come back for more!
I ordered delivery and the estimated time was 30 mins, however, the order didn't arrive until 1 hour and 10 mins after the quoted time. Also, both of my soups spilled out of the container into the bag. Half the soup was in the container while the other half was in the bag. Also, my pork belly with Chinese broccoli was soggy and salty.
Noodle are excellent spicy duck noodles are my current favorite
