If you've never been do yourself a favor and add this to your bucket list. The pictures do ABSOLUTELY NO JUSTICE. There are plenty of trails to hike and plenty of vistas to have breathtaking memories. Pets are allowed on most trails

The hike is strenuous if you're considering hiking down to fish. There are chains for part of the route. The trail is not clearly marked and everyone we talked to got lost on the ascent. The views are amazing and the rangers are friendly and knowledgeable. The headquarters staff is top notch with all kinds of fun.

Great little spot to pick up great souvenirs or something for the kids to keep occupied.

What a beautiful National Park! On the smaller side (because we could not go to the North Rim bc we have kids and we are not real hikers) but great for us! You can drive through the park and stop at different viewpoints, do a small “hike”, and take pictures. Our two small children loved it, but we did hold onto them because of the drop offs. Breathtaking views! Try to get to the visitors center before 10am because it does get busy!

This is a great visitor center on the south rim of Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. I drove up to the visitor center, parked in the parking lot, and walked behind the visitor center into the gift shop. I went into the gift shop and browsed through the products there, but I didn't buy anything. After looking through the gift shop, I left the visitor center and explored the rest of the park. The visitor center seemed to have nice exhibits, but they were closed due to COVID. I gave this visitor center five stars because you can see a very nice view of the Black Canyon from the visitor center.
