Great place to dig deep into south Tejas history and culture. Allow plenty of time to explore. Anna and Bianca we're very friendly and knowledgeable at check-in.

The place is so welcoming and entertaining. Highly recommended restaurant in the city!
Great place, lots of things to see.
An interesting look into history along the American border. Complete with bilingual descriptions and facts, so I got to learn a bit more Spanish whilst I was there. Not too expensive either. Took about 2 hours to go around the museum.
This museum is small, but it makes up for its vast historic themes. The south texas history is well described with a lot of artifacts or historic display. I went on a Saturday afternoon, and there very few people. So parking is very easy, and I paid 6 dollars for entrance; though with my university ID. Restrooms are very clean. This museum is a must for valley natives, or for people visiting the rio grande valley. By far, this museum is a gem of museums in the rio grande valley.
