I have a parent at Meadowbrook Naperville as a long term resident for the past 18 months. The loving care and compassion is amazing by ALL staff, including the Administration team. They always have activities available and entertainment/ice cream social on a weekly basis. This facility is ALWAYS going above and beyond to keep things freshly painted and exceptionally clean. Rehab department is excellent, and would put them up against any in the area, even Marion Joy! If you’re looking for care for a loved one, either short term or long term, PLEASE give this location a try you won’t be disappointed!!!

Hardworking therapy team! Justin gets in before most of us get up... Everyone that we have met from the therapy team cares about their patients - really nice to see that!

We are approaching an anniversary of when this facility killed my grandmother. While some staff is caring, a great number is negligent, Two falls from her wheelchair within months of each other due to negligence secured her demise. Instead of focusing on the residents and embracing the responsibilities of person centered care, the ill-trained staff and unsupervised staff sits in the corner, eyes downward, texting on their phones. This is not speculation But supported by photographic evidence. A consultation with a respected attorney assured our family that we indeed had a case, proving negligence as the care plan protocol was not followed. My mother however, guilt ridden, distraught and intimidated by a belief that this organization has “Mafia ties” refused to move forward, focused solely on the fact that any suit would not bring her back, rather than in consideration of future negligent fatalities. Perhaps others have had the same experience at Meadowbrook. Perhaps this post saves the life of another’s loved one.

I am writing this to those who are stressing to find a wonderful place for your loved ones... You have arrived!!!..You don’t have to look anymore!! ..From the first day I came Jenny showed me around and I was impressed by the warm welcome, to all the levels of care they provide. That is first the most important!! And then how beautiful the place is with cozy rooms where family can get together and enjoy a nice visit!!..Usually no one ever mentions this, but I’ve been in places that have a odor etc. you know what I mean., and this place does not smell like a nursing home... The day I arrived with mom it was a hard day , first time mom couldn’t live independently and it was extremely hard on her , I was a mess trying to be calm. But Casey was there that day with the biggest smile and checked on mom all the time , by the next day mom seemed soooo much more relaxed...Mom has had her bumps in the road , she’s 96 and the administration staff Jeremy and Alison has been a God sent , from getting mom the right roommate, which is huge to a resident adjusting. To keeping in touch with me when she’s been ill.. there not sitting in there office, there visiting residents and serving lunch along the nursing and activity staff. My mom has wonderful thoughtful nurses and and real good care, they work hard and long hours and always smile!!.. Again , will keep in touch with me by phone about mom if need be. The activity staff is thoughtful and come to get mom if they haven’t seen her, checking in on her. Housekeeping keeps everything looking real good too. Physically therapy is primo too!!.. Social workers and clerical staff are all, all good.!!!...It’s stressful to find a good quality nursing home!!...And I’m very picky, so go take a look at MeadowBrook Manor , you’ll love it!!!.. I hope this gives you have a better day!!
