I have to say I switched GI specialists from Vanderbilt to Centennial with Dr. Ammar. He has been very proactive with my daughter and her constipation issues. Vanderbilt would always give us the run around to “clean out” every f***ing visit with no results! Dr. Ammar has listened and he knows we want answers. This has been an ongoing for years and Vandy has done nothing. We go in on Tuesday to get a procedure done with a scope and hopefully we’ll get down to the bottom of it. He has no bedside manner mind you but at least he knows what he is doing.

We would not recommend this doctor to anyone. Take your child to another specialist. This one will waste your time, energy, and patience. If you are looking for a great doctor to care for your child, or a doctor with decent bedside manner-- this is not the one.

If i could leave 0 stars i absolutely would. The nurses are absolutely great but Dr. Ammar....no, Not only was he super rude but we waited two hours. I get that doctors fall behind some days and it’s no ones fault but every visit we’ve had has been the same. I also didn’t appreciate how he told me my son had cerebral palsy before even seeing a neurologist. Definitely changing to vanderbilt as soon as possible.

Had a horrible experience and felt like he came towards me during our visit. One of the worst doctor experiences of my life. To have a doctor practically intimidate you and come at you while you are seven months pregnant with your special needs children who is 9 in a wheel chair, plus your toddler and mother who came to help you. So no men at all just two women and two children. Yet a supposed to be professional doctor talks down to them, yelling at them, acting completely childish, then even walking toward them as he held out his white jacket showing his name on it saying Dr. Mahommad Ammar. What a class act. I do pray he finds some kind of peace in his life. Because it is ver obvious he is miserable and will continue to be untill he changes how he treats people.
