Part of the Nauvoo Historic District, a carefully restored early Mormon settlement on the banks of the Mississippi River. Well worth the visit and with the number of buildings they have restored you could spend multiple days here, though you could see a lot in an afternoon. Well worth a visit.

Great building with a lot of history. Worth going up to the third floor.

I didn't know if I was like this place, but in the end it was pretty cool, the guide even let us go to the top floor where there was the dancehall. I had the original dance floor.

Ok, one of the funnest places in Old Nauvoo! In the summer they offer a variety of shows here that very fun for the whole family. We took our small children to several shows here and they enjoyed every one of them! It isn't a large building as far as seating goes, but it's comfortable. Heads up though, the seating is all wood benches, so depending on your preference you may want to bring a cushion to sit on.
