I very much enjoyed my stay here at the children and woman's pavilion when I gave birth to my baby girl. The staff is very nice and we're very quick about helping me. My recommendations would be to get more comfortable pillows and not have my partner pay for their own meals. I know other hospitals do not make your partner pay.

The doctors are good, the hospital is clean, and the wait times are reasonable. However, they are very disorganized and unreliable beyond the actual treatment. For example, the hospital mostly uses external doctors, so if you see more than one specialist here, you will end up getting bills from numerous places aside from St. Peter's. What makes it worse, is that St Peter's billing system/staff is disjointed and error-prone. For example, they sent the wrong or incomplete billing information to some of the 3rd party doctors' offices, so I ended up having to contact numerous billing departments to fix it. You should be able to give your information to St. Peters and they send it out or update it as needed with those 3rd parties. Its a headache for the patient to have to do it. In addition, after my visit there, they never sent my treatment information to my Primary doctor. It can take months and numerous requests to each doctor at St. Peters that you visited to get them to do this and finalize their diagnosis even if they claim your condition is urgent. Also, all of the doctors there apparently have separate databases. So even though their office is located inside the hospital, if you go to another specialist, they will treat you like you are a new patient. Finally, they usually want to refer you to specialists that they know. Even if they are not covered by your insurance! But they won't tell you that. So don't let them just tell you who to go to. They don't care if it may cost you thousands out of pocket, which you could have avoided by staying in-network. Basically, if you have a choice of going elsewhere and you don't need a specialist at St. Peter's, then you should. This hospital has very good doctors, but it is too disorganized and unreliable when it comes to everything else.

I’ve seen better. Subpar here, nothing great.
