Muriel’s is consistently awesome. I’ve had brunch and dinner here, and every time I’ve eaten here the food has been amazing. It is a great place to get traditional NOLA fare in the French quarter. Plus- they have a ghost! Be sure to check out the seance room upstairs. The service is always on point, and they have managed to install buffers between the tables (because Covid) that don’t interrupt the ambiance or decor. Get yourself some bread pudding for sure.

Fantastic Valentine's dinner at Muriel's! The three-course special menu had plenty of terrific options. The oysters and beet salad appetizers were very good. The duck is some of the best you will ever have and the scallops melt in your mouth. You can't go wrong with the bread pudding or the flour less chocolate cake. The service was fantastic and the entire staff made the night very special. The restaurant followed all safety protocols and we felt very safe. Can't to try the regular menu!

Reserved outdoor table due to covid. They didn’t bother to call and tell us they weren’t planning on seating us outside, They just decided to seat us inside upon our arrival. If the food was better I could’ve gotten over it a little bit easier but food was actually more a kin to hotel food. Yes, it’s fancy. The food is lacking. The sauce on the chicken tasted like sweet-and-sour sauce from a Chinese restaurant. The pesto on my pasta was probably canned and the pasta was nothing to write home about, also probably from a jar. If you want a nice experience, keep going to Muriel‘s. If you actually want good food, book somewhere else.

OH MY HEAVENS. If you have a day where you just need to take a break from the typical fried foods offered here this is the place to go. The prices for this place are on the higher end side, however it is worth every penny and some. You can go in jeans and a t-shirt, but I reccomend getting a little dressed up. It was such an amazing experience. Our waitress and waiter were amazing! Their suggestions on meals and drinks were spot on. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits, Vampire's Kiss Cocktail and the flourless chocolate cake!!! Best flavors ever! One big thing is they offered gluten free options as well!

We had this place on our lists of \haunted/vodoo\ stops during our first trip to NOLA, and we are very glad we got to experience it. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous--with lots of plants and beautiful pictures on the walls, and the service was fast and professional. We had some delicious drinks and appetizers before heading to the Voodoo shop which was a quick walk away. Be sure to make a reservation as it seems to be a favorite for visitors and locals--for good reason!
