Candace has been a wonderful piano instructor for my daughter the past few years. It was a seamless transition from her previous Musikgarten program into Spreading the Music. And with the pandemic, Candace was able to quickly pivot to FaceTime instruction without missing a beat. Can't more highly recommend.

A beautiful place for everyone to learn and live through music. The lesson rooms are so organized, the artwork is so lovely, and the local owner is friendly and easy to talk to. Definitely recommend anyone to pop in and talk to the friendly staff about how to sign up for lessons for their children.

I was taking guitar lessons here for about 6 months or so. My guitar teacher left Spreading the Music and Candice said that due to the low availability of guitar teachers, that I could temporarily take lessons for free with the teachers they were interviewing. I took one of these free lessons and after that I never heard from her again. I called and emailed her multiple times over the next several weeks and got nothing. I eventually looked elsewhere. This happened around August 2019.

I came to New Orleans to take some drum lessons and see the parades. Finding a place to rehears was much more difficult the i thought it wold be and the prices can be a little over the top. Luckily i found Spreading the music! An amazing music school with a room that had 2 drum sets. Candace, the owner, did absolutely everything in her power to make setting the schedule as streamlined as possible and made sure that I have everything i need. If you are looking for a place to rehears they have a verity of instruments, a cool space, grate prices and all the care in the world for musicians.
