Where can I start with this place? I’ve been here twice and it never disappoints. Like ever. First, if you’re looking for somewhere to truly immerse yourself in the New Orleans experience, you got to stop by and get a table. The live music is a great experience, and you’re lucky if you can catch some swing dancers on the dance floor! Second, the food and menu are perfect! Being a vegetarian, finding something without meat/sea food in New Orleans is a challenge. But The Maison didn’t disappoint! I got the portobello mushroom sandwich and wow, it was delicious! For the non-veg crowd, there is so much to pick from! My friend got a Bloody Mary that was out of this world so she obviously recommends ordering one. Either way, to eat, drink, dance, or just listen to music, everyone in NOLA needs to stop here at least once.

Had a great time and waiting to come back, but what kind of blues did I hear? maybe someone can classify it, there was horn section, the female trumpeter did get up to sing but she did a fascinating thing with her voice similar to yoddel but not a one. kinda reminded me of a recording from the 1920s or 30s.
The mixology class was amazing and the instructors took their time to teach us the history behind each drink
Love their Bloody Mary’s...gotta check this place out if you come to New Orleans! Great atmosphere, great location & great staff!
This place is amazing for listening to good jam sessions. The space is quite big but the acoustics are great. The only problem is that it is always crowded and the service is quite slow.
