I like the doctor we had there but when calling to make appointments or ask questions the service is horrible. For my older son on 3 different occasions I couldn’t get appointments when needed when he was sick. Ended up going to urgent care as if it was our pediatricians office. With an older and younger son it was impossible to get the visits close together. I would have to come back another day or the next week for my older son. On the phone the customer service is rude and unhelpful. I don’t think the people answering work in that office because in person the front desk is nice. I ended up switching to another office. Again I liked my kids doctor but I have to be able to see her.

We have had nothing but positive experiences since the first time we called Columbia Westside Pediatrics before our son was born. His pediatrician, Dr. Taylor, is exceptional and everyone we’ve interacted with — from the other doctors and lactation consultant to the office staff and medical assistants — has been kind, accommodating, and focused on getting our child what he needs. Scheduling is painless, calls are always answered, and time-sensitive issues are addressed quickly. I would absolutely recommend the practice to any first-time parents without reservation!

I've tried a number of practices around the city, and this one, hands down, is the best I've encountered thus far, both in and out of the city. The waiting room features areas for both sick and well Children, and is generally calm and quiet, a huge plus when you have an anxious little one. The practitioners are thorough, personable, and extremely knowledgeable. I like the fact that they are good listeners and demonstrate this by asking appropriate follow-up questions in a conversational manner about any complaints brought up. My four kids see two different doctors, and each stuck an immediate rapport with all of them. Both their front and back office are well staffed with kind courteous professionals. This is one of the first pediatric practices I've been to in NYC where I haven't run into a myriad of billing errors, or have been nickeled and dimed for every little courtesy, like filling out camp forms, or getting medical records transferred to a specialist's office. They always do these things with a smile, and within a reasonable amount of time. Overall, they run a pretty tight ship, and I highly recommend this practice.

I LOVE everything about this practice. I've been bringing my kids here for 10 years now and we've always been treated so kind from last minute appts to last minute refills. Outstanding staff and doctors. Only complaint, well not really a complaint, just sad that Dr. Ronan is no longer there.
