The billing department will consistently not use your insurance information and will send you large bills expecting you to pay out of pocket. When you call and remind them of your insurance information they apply it and the bills go to zero. This has happened four times and each time they have made us open a case with our insurance company first and then it all ends up being taken care of. However it has been a lot of work each time. The billing department is also very hard to reach and only open during the week for a few hours. The doctors and nurses here are good but billing is utterly terrible. Be mindful if you decide to use NYU.

I had an all around great experience here. I saw Dr. DeVore, who was wonderful and got me pregnant within a few months! The whole staff at NYU was professional and compassionate throughout the entire process, and I have now recommended them to multiple friends. I was previously going to Cornell for fertility treatment, and I switched to NYU just for proximity to my home. The staff at Cornell was lovely, but the system felt very unorganized and I always felt like I was having to call to figure out what I was supposed to be doing or if I had a bill that needed to be paid. By comparison, NYU was MUCH more organized and the whole process was easy to navigate.

Fighting Blindness

I actually wrote them a review. The worst review that they deserve. But unfortunately that has been removed. I don't know why. But that gives an idea how negative reviews are removed to give patients the false impression of success and excellence. I had outlined all the ills and malpractices being routinely done at this center. Anyway, if this review survives, then please be advised that this is THE WORST INFERTILITY CENTER in the world. Trust me it is worse than those centers you will find in Somalian slums except for its clean appearance and good furniture. Doctors are their for namesake and for advertisement. You will essentially be treated with a bunch of incompetent nurses who change positions like a person changes shoes.

Unfortunately I’ve spent a lot of time at this clinic but I never dreaded going. The clinic is clean and entire staff is wonderful. Doctors, nurses and administrators are professional, friendly and empathetic. Dr. DeVore is the best doctor I’ve ever met!
