I have taken the makeup pro course, and I can say I love every minute of it. The teachers are extremely nice and helpful they don't mind sharing their tricks and knowledge! Claire is also extremely helpful when helping you apply, and extremely nice! I highly recommend this school, they help you have a head start on your makeup artist career.

I’ve been looking around for somewhere to attend a makeup course so I can grow as a freelance makeup artist it has always been a dream and I always pushed it to the side. I never had time to attend, but I finally decided I would take the time to follow what I’ve always wanted to do. I searched from a makeup school for a while, the New York Makeup Academy just kept grabbing my attention on instagram. I signed up for the 1 week pro makeup course and I loved everything about. The teacher Ana is amazing, she is so helpful in teaching tricks and shares as much tips as she can. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The teacher shares so many tips to keep growing as an artist and they make it clear that you can always ask questions even after you graduate. I met girls that are my support group during this learning process.Don’t think twice about attending their courses. Truly grateful for this experience
I’ve wanted to enroll at The New York Makeup Academy for quite a long time. Finally I could take the time to do it after quarantine, and let me tell you that it’s the best thing I’ve done for the sake of my makeup career. The classroom is beautifully equipped with lots of makeup that you can use to practice, it has enough light (which is always important when doing makeup) and one of the most important things these days...enough space to be socially distant, the teachers take all the safety measures and I’ve always feel in a safe environment there. The teachers are very experienced, they are patient and they share makeup tips that at least for me are priceless! I’m so grateful for all the knowledge Ana, Tim and Dash shared along the course. Also for all the help and tips from Kat and Diana!! I feel that I’m ready to go and start my bridal makeup career! If you are looking to start a makeup career I’ll say look no more and sign up at The New York Makeup Academy! You won’t regret it!
I had an amazing experience, it was my very first time doing makeup. I think that I learned a lot, the teachers were also very nice and caring. It’s definitely worth it!
Just graduated with my one week course. I just say I am so glad I picked this specific school to further my career. Instructors were great and very thorough with their teaching. I can I say I came out learning a lot from this course !! Thank you Ana and Claire !!
I always wanted to get formal training on how to perfect my makeup skills. I have no regrets about enrolling in the NY Makeup Academy. The classroom atmosphere is accommodating and conducive to learning and growing as a makeup artist. The teachers are very experienced and patient. Everyday we practice what was taught, this causes our skills to improve quickly. I highly recommend NY Makeup Academy.
This Academy was my best choice. Teachers are amazing and the content of the courses are perfect. I will repeat.
So glad I chose New York Makeup academy as the school to study makeup in. I did the 6 week pro course and learned so much. Our instructor Tim was especially amazing in that he was helpful, judgement free and energetic. I went in knowing about makeup and loving it and left learning new techniques and information about the industry.
