This place is delightful. If you're anywhere near the West Village, then please do yourself a favor & stop in Tipsy for a bite. Ambience: 10 Service: 10 Food: 10

The steamed pork soup dumplings and drunken chicken Suzhou style were good. Shredded pork and salted vegetable noodle soup were fine. However, the sliced braised beef noodle soup and pan fried pork dumplings were not as good as expected. It would be nice if there were some greens in the beef noodle soup. Also, the hot and soup soup was very small, and I had had better elsewhere. Overall, it’s good if I feel like eating some noodles. But I probably go elsewhere for more tasty food.

Super good xiao long bao, and the service was AMAZING. Definitely will come back here again!

Really delicious food and the server was so sweet! The xiao long bao and wuxi pork were probably the best.

Really a low 4/5 Nice setting and good service; the food was not very authentically SuHang type (I’m from this region). Here are the reasons: Smoked fish 熏鱼 Lots of small bones — this fish should not have small bones. Moreover, Tipsy uses low-quality parts of the fish (see picture). One gets much better ones in street shops in Shanghai for 1/10 of the price. 1/5 Ringing bell 响铃 (veggie bean curd) — this dish, when done properly, is crispy and hence the name. There was neither any ringing nor a bell shape in their recreation of the dish, though it tasted above average. 4/5 for the taste. Shrimp 水晶虾仁 This was proper but I’ve had much better ones in Hangzhou and Shanghai. 4/5 in consideration of the generally poor US food quality standards. Noodle — the noodles are very proper in this restaurant. The ingredients used also seem superior. 5/5

Great ambience, service was excellent. I ordered braised sliced beef w/mushroom. Beef was a little tough. I'll try again when I'm in the neighborhood.

The appetizers are good. I tried drunken chicken and bran dough. Dongpo Pork was just okay. Service was "Meh". I added 12% tips for a pickup order. When I asked the waitress if I can use the outdoor dining table, for just a few minutes. She told me "you can use it. But you need to ADD TIPS." I told her I already added tips via doordash. She LIED to my face saying that tips on the app was not for the restaurant.
