If I could give them less than one star, I would. We had an absolutely awful experience with our rental in Newport. During these uncertain times with COVID-19 our expectation is to find a rental property, not only clean under normal circumstance, but immaculate with COVID protocols. We found our property had crumbs in the kitchen, the bathroom disheveled and one of the bedrooms unkept. This property looked like a work in progress with electrical lines not framed in the ceiling and walls put up haphazardly. Our biggest concern was a serious Wifi issue. We selected this home based on a few very important criteria that we find imperative. At the top of our list is a solid internet connection; as we both my husband and I work full time from our laptops. We found that the connection is mediocre at best and struggling to connect more than one device, with it only working in the back bedrooms. It appeared that the property was sharing internet with the duplex next door. We reached out via phone and email to the onsite property manager, Rose without so much as an acknowledgment or response. I would never recommend using Vacasa and specifically any Newport properties. Worst of both worlds and would have rather stayed in a cheap motel that wouldn't have put livelihoods at risk.

Big open spaces in the Sea Breeze home, beautiful ocean view from the huge windows and deck. Plenty of room for my family of 7. Well stocked kitchen and linens as well as games, toys, and books. Very clean. Quiet neighborhood. Close to Nye Beach shops and a short drive to many other attractions. We loved our stay and hated to leave. We would stay here again next time.
The Bear's Den was a very lovely place to spend our family vacation. The location is quiet and relaxing, with friendly locals. The cottage was immaculate, comfortable, and very well-stocked (I was able to prepare meals and the hubby was able to grill ribs without worrying about the lack of cookware and utensils). And the view of the beach and the ocean through the large picture windows, it was beautiful! We look forward to vacationing here again!
Each room had a wonderful view of the ocean. Plenty of room for a large group to spread out and everyone have their own space. The only feedback we had was that the dishwasher upper rack is not very stable and that the 2nd smaller sink faucet was loose. Otherwise the stay was perfect. The house was incredibly clean and everyone had a lovely time.
