Looking for a great sandwich on the Island? You found it. The same way Long Islanders have been finding it for decades - fresh, delicious, reasonably priced sandwiches.. they really are the bomb! This place is super popular and parking can be difficult, but it is worth the pain. CALL YOUR ORDER IN AHEAD of time to alleviate some of the wait. The Chicken Supreme is all kinds of magnificent, but so is any sandwich from here. The supreme is Chicken Cutlets, Fresh Mozzarella, Roasted Peppers & THE WORKS. For the uninitiated, the works includes lettuce, tomato, onions, salt, pepper, oregano, oil and vinegar which really is the proper way to dress these sandwiches. Going to Jones Beach? This is a great stop to pick up your lunch (and most likely dinner, these sandwiches are huge!) just make sure you have a cooler big enough to handle these sandwiches!

This place is a classic. My favorite is the chicken supreme which consists of Chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers and the works. But any chicken cutlet sandwich from this place is great. Idk why other places dont do this but these guys pound the chicken nice and thin and fry it so well. The chicken cutlet is very juicy and flavorful. The hero rolls from this place need to be toasted otherwise you are wasting your time. What can I say they make a great sandwich. The only problem with this place is that people behind the counter don't really seem like they want to speak with you. They just want you to spit out your order asap so you can get out of their face. Or that the vibe I get anyway. It's kind of annoying. Other than that this place makes a good product so I would recommend it.

I've been going here since I was a kid and they've never failed to give such a good sandwich. The lines get long but they go fast and it's very much worth it. My hero has been my favorite sandwich place since I can remember and I doubt that'll change

This is hard to summarize into actual human words, but that spicy chicken sandwich gives me life. Lines get long here, but it moves quick. Alternatively come during off hours and you won't have to wait at all.
