Came in looking for a Duck for Christmas dinner. First time there and was helped almost immediately after someone noticed I looked lost in admiration of the Selection of goods( both meat and spice related). Not sure what all the Karen's are up in arms about, Everyone wore masks (including the staff) and were consciously spaced out best they could. Theres only so much you can do in a place of its size. If you coming in adds to the hassle of it all and you take issue with a small business making it work despite the situation, kindly keep your salty 1-star reviews to yourselves instead of complicating it further and then rushing off to leave a bad review about a supposed problem you are contributing to.

The meat is fresh, the prices are reasonable. HOWEVER, they do not enforce social distancing amongst the customers. I was there this morning. There is a sign posted on the window that cleary says there is a six person maximum in the store at a time. Today I counted nine people and and then seven people inside the store while I was there. I brought it to the attention of one of the workers, who acknowledged there were too many people in the store. He in turn notified a colleague, who looked then went right back to serving his customer. COVID-19 is real and social distancing is necessary to help mitigate the spread. They certainly need to do a better job with enforcing the store maximum limits for the staff's, as well as customer, safety.

I love that it’s right off the green line. Also the meat is fresh and delicious. I’m new to cooking things besides pasta and chicken, so I really appreciated the butcher being patient with me and giving me good cooking tips.

It's so hard to shop locally when the customer services is so bad. Sign on the door says \6 people only in store. Take a number and wait outside\. Go inside the store there are at least 15 people some with no mask and there are no numbers. So now what? You would expect to get guidance from the employees but no, they are chatting amongst each other and having a grand old time. Butcher says ext\- who is next? How do we know? Where are the numbers? He throws his hand and waves me off and says \we not using numbers\ turns around and walks away. An employee at Pete's would never act so unprofessionally. So I took my right down the street to meets where I got quality meat AND quality service for basically the same price. I usually dont write super long reviews but this place amazed and disappointed me with the way they are allowed to treat customers

I love love love this butcher shop! I feel so lucky to have it within walking distance of my home. The guys are just great, and take the time to answer all of my questions, as I am hardly a connoisseur of meat. They make valuable recommendations, and will suggest cooking methods if you are inexperienced. And the prices can’t be beat! Truly a gem.
