A lovely place to stop on the road from Charleston to Savannah. Oaks covered in resurrection ferns surround a really well maintained set of brick church ruins and grave markers (most recent one from 1996). It’s wheelchair accessible with a ramp and decent paths around the church ruins. Check out the hidden cameras and floodlights in the trees as you walk around. Lots of rusting iron fences everywhere so maybe don’t hang onto them. Bonus points if you find the tree where they’ve bricked up the center of it.

Unique historical stop off! Great place to take photos and look around. Neat and old graves along with the church ruins. Cool history behind it. Neat place and stop off.

The ruins here were very nice to stumble upon. I would definitely suggest the shirt trip off of 17 to check them out.

Very neat place! You have to continue down the road further than what GPS will say but you won’t miss it there’s no way! Lots of history and very cool peaceful place.
