I had a nice meal here the other night. The service in the bar area was attentive and friendly. I ordered Filet and Lobster and my husband ordered the Parmesan-Crusted Chicken. Our meal was very good, but I had ordered my steak \Medium\ and you can probably tell from the picture that it did not come out medium. It was Mid-well at best and some parts of it were WELL done. I am not one to send something back unless it is inedible, but I really think that if you are paying almost 30 for an entree, it should be perfect. Overall, our meal was still good, but it was not perfect. Outback used to be top notch 15 years ago and I really feel like they are not anymore. In the future, I will probably seek out more non-chain restaurants to spend my money, even if that means paying more.

Visited to celebrate my sister's 81st birthday. My chicken salad was great as was the blooming onion. My sister stated her medium well steak was on the dry side. They did bring her out an ice cream with candle which was sweet of them . Our server was terrific.
TL:DR Despite more than enough workers and prompt process of payment, curbside order took 25 extra minutes to bring food out with no explanation or updated ETA of order. Curbside experience was awful. We arrived 3 minutes ahead of the requested arrival time. The runner immediately grabbed our card to pay and said they'd be right out with the food....8 minutes later and three other cars arriving and leaving, we asked for an ETA on our order. We were told they were just putting the order in bags and would be right out....7 additional minutes later, I had to get out of my curbside car to walk to in and ask what was wrong. Manager is the first to even acknowledge I'm there. I give him our name and he says it will be right out....8 more minutes later our order finally arrives to our car. No explanation beyond they had alot of orders...doesn't explain why 10 cars showed after us and got their orders within moments. As a former service industry worker, my guess is that despite our prompt payment and reception, they either failed to put our order in, or messed up/dropped the order. These things happen. Just be honest and give your customer a new ETA. Instead having them wait 30 min in their car.
As usual the food was great and the service was very pleasant and timely. Our blooming onion came out right away and was piping hot. The entrees were served with perfect timing and so tasty. I had the Alice Springs Chicken, which I highly recommend. My husband tried it and loved it. He ordered a burger cooked medium and it was perfectly cooked. Our drinks were refilled frequently, six glasses between the two of us! Needless to say, we kept the server busy and she was friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to our next visit!
