I started taking lessons as a complete beginner, and I have come a long way with Chris’s help. Chris is a very patient and encouraging teacher, who is also an extremely skilled player. I have been learning about proper technique, reading music, playing grooves and fills, as well as how to think about the drums as an instrument. Chris has done a great job of really tailoring the lessons to me, often using real world examples from some of my favorite songs and artists to demonstrate concepts. Chris has had quite a flexible lesson plan with me, enabling me to really explore the concepts and techniques within drumming that I find most interesting. I would highly recommend Chris to drummers of all ages and levels.

I started taking drum lessons with Chris over Skype during quarantine. He does a great job teaching the fundamentals and then branching out to learn any songs/genres that I've been interested in exploring. Chris is also really patient with answering the ton of questions I come up with each lesson, and is happy to discuss different concepts with real life examples that round out my knowledge as a musician and not just a drummer. Definitely recommend Chris if you're looking to take lessons!
I can’t say enough good things about Chris. He has been giving lessons to our 5-year-old for several months now, and everything about it has been great. Chris is kind, patient, thoughtful, flexible, and an insanely good drummer. Our son is quickly progressing and loves it!
Chris is such an amazing teacher that I was playing full on grooves by lesson 3 (I’ve never played the drums before). He’s patient, and really listens to what you want to get out of the lessons (all while providing expert and professional guidance on how to get you there). I’d 110% recommend drum lessons with him.
Chris is an amazing teacher who is very well rounded with his instrument. He can teach you things that you never would’ve learned on your own, and that’s just one of the many things he bring to the table. He’s both creative and fun on the way he teaches and is great with the way he gives you information.
Chris Palace is a wonderful and talented teacher and drummer. I started two months ago and am already writing my own beats, preparing for a competition, and feeling good about my skills and my progress. Without reservation, I highly recommend this school.
Chris is the first/best drum teacher I ever had! Cool demonstration, explain things intuitively and easy to follow, very patient, nice notes and course material, courses are prepared very well. Now I can have fun play drum myself after several lessons. Enjoy the class!
Chris is a great dude, personalizes his lessons and was open to diving into some genres he doesn’t normally explore and I really cannot express how much gratitude I have for him being as flexible as he is with scheduling and accommodating to me as a student. The guy kills it on the drums and definitely knows his stuff and I’m happy to call him my drum instructor.
