After making me download an app, register add a card and wasting me 15 minutes, promising a first drink for free, the person at the counter said it's only when you pay for another drink. No more joe & the juice for me

Ordered an avo shake from the App and it was ridiculously sweet and too thick. Tried to ask the lady if they could make it differently but she refused to redo it and said we had to order it differently without the vanilla milk on the App. Afterwards, looked at the App and there's no way to customize the milk base. One for yucky shake, poor customer service, and bad app.

The service people were very nice. I got an 11/12.00 dollar green juice. I just got this exact juice in Europe three days ago and price was more at Palo Alto, which is fine. However I found it unacceptable that there was about 25 percent less juice put into the exact same size cup. You could tell it was under filled. Also the tables were all dirty. The juice quantity needs more consistency at this location and the actual store needs cleaning up.

JOE & THE JUICE is my favorite coffee chain in the San Francisco Bay Area. Although the prices are a little high, the quality of their drinks and food is quite good! For the most part, the ambiance, cleanliness and service is also pretty decent. Out of the many, many times that I have been here, only once did I have to wait almost 20 minutes for my latte (because they were way too understaffed), and only once did my hot latte come out cold. Not ideal, but these incidents never repeated themselves. I love all of their sandwiches—they use an authentic Dutch bread that is exclusively produced for this chain, and they press it down (in a panini grill) until the bread is flat and crispy. Yum! I also appreciate that they were amongst the first coffee chains to offer “oat milk” in their coffee drinks—my favorite alternative milk!

On 1/11, I bought a "Joe's Club sandwich' and "shake". After paying plus adding a tip. I was told I had to pay digitally as they don't accept cash. So, I did. Then, I was told my sandwich will be cancelled because they didn't have complete ingredients. I was told by a nice counter person that I need to send an email so I can get a refund for my sandwich. Everyday since 1/11 and until now, 1/14, the only way of communication I have with Joe the Juice to get my refund is via email. They kept on asking so many questions: name of order, how much, location, when, credit card numbers. I've provided them all but until now, it seems that questions only circling and no end to that until now. This time I was asked if I'm in US or UK! Even this 2nd person who took over from the other one seems at a loss on how to give me my refund. They're trying their best to know the card I used and they're nice in their correspondences. But that's all. I still didn't get my refund even though I gave them my address and requested to just send me a check. I don't think I would be able to get my refund since I used Apple Pay which it generates printed random numbers instead of the actual numbers of the card. I understand they want to be different and go digital. But refund should be in the store and not via email, and no phone number. This is frustrating. I don't think you are winning customers because you are not able to fix this common issue right away! Good luck!

I have friends who really enjoy this place however even with the mall employee discount the juice was almost 10. I had waited 15 minutes before asking where it was since my break was over and those after me had been served. They weren’t kind about it and I said I’ll be back in a bit to come grab it. Total of 25 minutes and I come back to it finally being made, not full in the cup and the employees talking poorly about me.

7.20 for a hot chocolate sounds like Swedish prices! It is, however, a nice airy large space and they need to pay for it. And the hotchocolate was delicious and thick.
