This location is bleak, they do very little to care properly for their clients and it takes them 3 hours to clean and change adult diapers. This is completely unacceptable. There is more that I will write later.

My resident has been very unhappy with the care -- lack of responsiveness and unhappy staff. Some of this may be due to covid, yet it's at this time that the facilities should be going out of their way to make the resident's life as uplifting as possible - or at least be responsive to their basic needs. Very disappointed.

Family member has been in a few nursing facilities. North Point at Paola has caring staff that get to know the residents. They can tell when someone is just having an off day. They work to keep cheer in the hallways, talking to residents and each other. Physical therapists are good. Food looks good and our resident asks for food in off dinner hours, and gets it with a smile. They have made remodeling updates lately. Glad they are here for our resident. I don't give five stars, so they got a good rating from me.

Facility is managed by rude administration in both nursing, and admissions. Failed to return calls 99% of the time even when they called and requested a call back. Had absolutely no knowledge or experience with Alzheimer's patient yet stated at admittance they were experienced with Alzheimer's. Staff has total lack of compassion for families and patients and projects the attitude of what is best for me and my staff in their communications. Care should be limited for loved one who has no serious medical issues and needs a place to sleep and be fed and spends the rest of the time in a chair, eating or in bed. Also that you can visit to monitor, teeth are brushed, bathes are done, and personal hygiene standards performed by the staff are acceptable.
