What a wonderful place with a great staff who really cares. They are doing a great job caring for the residents and communicating with the families during this pandemic. And the renovation is just beautiful - what a great improvement - I look forward to when we can visit again. Thanks for all you do for my family.

My wife was in HSL about 5 years until her recent passing. No place is perfect, but the staff at HSL was loving and caring to my wife and myself and I have no regrets about her being there. If I had to choose again I would again choose HSL.

I am a current resident here. The food is great. I ask for fish for most of my meals and I always get it. The staff is excellent, very friendly. Everybody works hard and I know that they are short handed but that is typical for this type of place.

No one should work or put their loved ones in there. Absolutely terrible nurses and service. Found out that my grandpa passed away in his bed and the nurses came in, didn’t rush to call the ambulance or nothing. Absolute garage.

Stopped in to visit my Father-In-Law with Dementia and found him covered in his own feces, for what looked to be quite a long time, locked in a closed unit with others that were wandering around, and not one nurse or care giver in sight. Went looking for someone to help and found no one qualified to get him into a bath or shower or administer his medications. No one deserves to be cared for so poorly. This man is a Navy Veteran who served in the Vietnam War and in this country he served and swore to protect from all enemies, foreign and domestic, he is living worse than the common criminals we send off to jail.
