Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts is located in Patchogue, United States on 71 E Main St. Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts is rated 4.7 out of 5 in the category theater in United States. Patchogue Theatre first opened in 1923 as the largest theatre in Suffolk County. It still is, with almost 1,200 seats. Saved by Village of Patchogue in 1996 and lovingly restored it to its original grandeur, this beautiful facility was in use 198 days with over 150,000 in attendance in our 2016-2017 season. PTPA is an independent not-for-profit organization that leases the building from The Village of Patchogue and covers all of the operating costs without any subsidies from the Village. Our leadership is a volunteer board of directors with a professional staff and we are thriving thanks to hard work by dozens of volunteers, companies, funding agencies and individuals who support what we do by contributing their time or their money.

Good theater was a good play. Saw Elf the musical. Seats are very close and tight but otherwise it was worth seeing. They need to change how they have the intermission very crowded and not enough staff behind the counter to serve everyone in time for the second act.

Saw a great show at the Loading Dock at the Patchogue Theater. The venue is intimate so you will be part of the show... lolol- The comedians Dino Vigo and Omar Thompson were beyond Hilarious but I have to say Omar was funny as all hell. It’s 3 days later and we’re still laughing at those jokes and I’ll never look at Minnie Mouse the same! Long Island has come a long way. Thank you Patchogue!
