So your employees have to wear a mask plus shields while working 12 hours shifts but the vets who live here don’t have to wear a mask? Makes no sense at all, they shouldn’t be allowed to leave their rooms without masks

We brought our Mother there to rehabilitate her back and get back on her feet. In the year and a half she was there she was in the ICU three times for severe UTIs. She complained they rarely helped her. Her final complaint was a sick server bringing food to their rooms where staff didn’t endured wearing masks. My Mother is one of five that have lost their life so far there because of Covid. It’s been a week that we have waited for her belongings and they keep giving us the run around. No one to this date has accepted any responsibility for the loss of life and heartache they have caused.

This is the best by far nursing home I have seen and experienced with my 92-year-old father that is a resident there. We had him in a nursing home in Albuquerque… Decided to take him to the State veterans nursing home in Arizona due to the fact he was very depressed in Albuquerque at the Albuquerque rehab nursing home. He expressed and was apparent to us that he was very depressed and bored to tears . Our family Decided to try Arizona nursing homes, due to the fact we have family there. Since he’s a veteran checked out several options and decided to go with the Arizona State nursing home, as one of their residents told me it was the best place that he’s found for himself and he’s been in five different nursing homes. My father has been at the Arizona State veterans nursing home for approximately 4 months now and I couldn’t be happier! Nor could he! He’s much happier, more comfortable and the staff makes sure that he keeps active. He has dementia, therefore he is in need of others to make a decisions for him. They make sure he’s involved in everything and makes sure he goes to church weekly. Not to mention they have ongoing activities… Which is a real bonus. My father is in much better spirits these days! The staff is so kind there, they really care about the patients. They keep my father very clean. They check on him. When we go visit my father, they greet us. Most the girls have a smile on their face all the time there. They are all very sharp minded, they have fantastic work ethic! The administration is very pleasant and helpful. I’m telling you I couldn’t be happie to see my father in a safe place that treats him with respect and dignity. They take excellent care of him in every aspect. They get an A!!!
