I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Carmen's Flower Boutique. I don't live in Pinehurst and wanted to support a small, local business and get some flowers delivered a friend who's going through a difficult time. I put in an order for a bouquet of tulips and a balloon. The total cost came to 100, which is not a small cost for a small vase of tulips. They called me the day it was scheduled to be delivered saying they did not in actual fact have tulips and would I be willing to substitute something else. I said yes and trusted that the arrangement was delivered to my friend. There was no confirmation of delivery and I asked my friend two days later if she received them and no, she had not. I called Carmen's to ask them about it and they said they'd investigate to make sure. Apparently Carmen herself called my friend after and was adamant that they had been delivered...even though my friend hadn't gotten them. They didn't call me to talk to me about it. After a couple days of pursuing them to follow up on my options, I was told that Carmen would call me in person. And told that the flowers were delivered to the address I provided and that was that. Carmen has not called me back and I have no idea if I will be provided with the option to get a refund or a re-delivery. At this point, I don't want to use their business given how they've handled the matter. This has been a very unprofessional and disorganized transaction. It's a bummer. I love supporting small businesses, especially owned and run by women. But THIS was a terrible experience and I do not recommend a remote online order with them. I've lost 100 for nothing and the worst part is my friend didn't receive the warmth and love I was hoping would get to her and know she's supported during her difficult time. Very disappointing and terrible customer service.

My parents live in Aberdeen and ALL 4 of their children live across the US. Carmen’s flowers is always there when we need to remind our mom and dad how much we love them. Amazing quick, beautiful arrangement, and very helpful service.
I recently contacted Carmen from out of state to send a flower arrangement to a close friend of mine who lives in Pinehurst to celebrate her birthday. The flower arrangement was absolutely beautiful and priced very reasonable. I would highly recommend Carmen for any of your flower needs and would not hesitate to call her again should the need arise in the future.
Carmen's is my go to florist. Carmen is a lovely woman who greets everyone with a smile. I can order online with them or walk-in and the arrangements they produce are always top notch! Love supporting this local business.
