Thank you Nick and Jill for a wonderful family vacation and such a welcoming home with many amenities. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed the use of all your boats! The owners were warm, welcoming, and responded promptly to all email inquiries. ( and I asked a lot of questions) They shared photos and video that gave a complete view of the property, lake and all amenities. So it was an easy decision to choose this rental. This house has everything! Coffee on the dock in the morning, kayaking and fishing. The house was great for us and more equipped that any place I've stayed in years. Our grandkids loved it (21, 16 and 7). The boats were on the water non stop and the grandkids loved hand feeding the deer apples (along with my son). We would recommend this house to anyone interested in having a great time. We loved staying at Nick and Jill's. The house was clean and comfortable, and the lake was a lot of fun. Are is nice well maintained. You can only get in and out of you are registered with the HOA homeowners association.
This review is actually for Nick & Jill’s property across the lake. This has been our 4th visit to their beautiful Lake House. The house has everything you need for a great vacation or just a simple getaway. We enjoyed fishing during the day on the lake and actually caught quite a few large mouth bass. The fire pit is a nice touch at night just to relax, it’s so nice on a clear night to see the stars and forget about life for a while. There is a swimming pool just a little walk down the street. I cant forget to mention the beautiful view of the lake especially at sunset, it’s like the sunset was made just for you! Thanks Nick & Jill, we will be coming back again for sure!
A beautiful, fun and relaxing location that is close enough to civilization you don't feel like you fell off the earth... We lounged around the lake one day and made full use of the kayaks. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening and enjoyed some wine we bought at a local vineyard (Mountain View was our favorite... about 35 minutes away by car and the tastings were well thought out.) We cooked together as a group one evening (plenty of pots, pans, real plates, silverware, glassware, etc.), foraged for ourselves another night, went to a nice Pocono Mountain wedding one night and then ate at the local Thai place another night. This place was really perfect for our group but would also be a great escape for couples and/or a family. There are plenty of things to do or not do. (We did not choose to use any of the gaming devices or TV but there appeared to be quite a selection.) Definitely a place we will return to in the future. :D
