Our lunch was so good! My daughter and I have to eat gluten-free. They will substitute gluten-free bread for a small charge. We had a monster burger and a cheese steak sandwich. They toasted the bread and it was so very good. It came with potato wedges too. We were told that sometimes they also fry chicken nuggets in the same oil but they had just replaced the oil before we came so it was safe to have the potato wedges. It would be necessary to ask if they have fried anything with gluten before having them each time. We will definitely eat there again.

You know at the spot you're in the right place for breakfast when you're the youngest person by at least 30 years. Breakfast was amazingly yummy and the servers didn't allow our coffee cups to get even half-empty. Highly recommended.
Amazing food, and better staff. Everyone's dish at the table was fabulous, will return if we make it back to town. The tetrazzini was delicious!
Everything was Such a delightful lunch Kinda really pricey though, so brave yourself
An unexpected delight! We had been driving all day, in the rain, and just outside of Sequim, we Googled food in Port Angeles. The reviews for Cafe Garden were excellent, so we stopped by for dinner. Betty Kang is the owner, and she was also our server. Professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about all the menu items. The food was amazing! I had the Seafood Pot Pie (a house specialty), husband had the Cioppino, and all three of my teenage boys had the 1/2lb Kobe Beef Burger. The Cioppino had the best tomato base i think i have ever tasted, and the sauce in the pot pie? WOW! Betty said all sauces - and everything really - are house made, fresh. We will definitely be going back.
What a great place. An unassuming American treasure. The food is always good and sometimes is great. It is quiet with a great ambiance provided by the garden setting which screens it from the busy traffic on US 101.
Tucked in behind a small, lush, and beautiful garden you will find the CAFE GARDEN restaurant, a place of fine Italian / Seafood dining. My family and I were served very tasty, flavorful dishes incorporating fresh seafood, delectable sauces, and pleasing aromas. The staff is friendly and eager to please. I'm marking this place as a favorite and will come back if I'm ever in the area again.
Overall fantastic entrees (particularly sauces) and bread, but a bit pricey. We went twice. First meal we got crab cakes and pastas. They were running behind so we got extra of their bread, which was a win for us imo. The crab cakes are amazing, but the price physically hurts to order. The pasta was good. I had their tomato vegetarian dish, which was lacking in quantity. If they just added more pasta it would be great. The second night, we got salmon and the pot pie. The pot pie was great and unique. The salmon was good but the sauces are where they really rock, so I'd stick with those dishes. We got dessert, expecting to see a fabulous menu like the prior night we went, but it was disappointing. The peanut butter mousse pie was good, just not fancy restaurant good. They needed to class it up. Servers tried so hard, sometimes too hard, to be friendly. We had different servers each night. Some of their attempts to make guests smile were a bit much, but I still prefer servers who try, so that's a positive. Garden outside is beautiful and makes you forget there's a highway on the other side. Good splurge restaurant.
