We recently had three furniture items restored at the PT Furniture Clinic: one mahogany secretary desk from around 1810, a highboy from the mid 19th century, and a butterfly table from early 20th century. I cannot express enough our gratitude to Tom and Tony for the work they did on these family heirlooms. It surpassed our expectations as the work was absolutely excellent with high attention to detail and historical importance. Best of all, they brought us into the refinishing process by explaining the choices available at every critical step. There was serious structural work done on the two older items, and now they should last another hundred or two years in excellent condition. We cannot be more pleased!!!! - Bill Higgins, Port Townsend

I have used the PTFC and Tom Powell for many projects over nearly 20 years with uniformly outstanding results. He has rebuilt antiques that were total wrecks yielding results where even a true expert would have difficulty finding the repairs. He finished all the cabinets for a \see through\ remodel of our large kitchen in a such a fashion that friends \in the business\ have repeatedly exclaimed about the quality and asked me who the heck did the finish work? Tom, Tony and the Furniture Clinic stand behind their work and won't hesitate to repair even a minor defect in a job that occurred years later. They are perfectionists, and are mortified if a customer ever finds anything to complain about in their work. There are very few professionals in any field of endeavor who are as good as these folks. You might find someone to do the work cheaper, but it will end up costing you more in the end when you need to epair\ their work. For us, the peace of mind we experience when entrusting a family heirloom to this crew is priceless. Put simply, we know it will be done right. Sam and Berry Shoen Port Townsend
