We obtained our residency visas via this consulate. Laura handled the process warmly and efficiently, and we concluded our business within an hour. I did not learn the name of the person who assisted us at the caja but they too were efficient and pleasant. We came very prepared but the process was much less stressful than I expected.

During the pandemic, they made with people more than an hour to get a passport. Very unsafe. They ask people to wash their hands, but they have many people waiting for a loving time. No ventilation in the room.
Horrible customer service. We’ve been calling since last yr and the website doesn’t work and every time we call they tell us no available appointments so how they hell are people supposed to renew their passport or other documents when no one is helping since the summer of 2020?
Easy process, made my appointment. Arrived early and they were able to process my paperwork in record time, even way before my meter expired! Great customer service! Friendly and helpful staff!
I have come back to my post to update my review. After finally being able to successfully schedule an appointment and attend it, the actual consulate was good. The security officer whom took our info was very nice. My husband said the employee who helped him was good also. As for the website it is totally frustrating and hard to understand. TIPS TO HELP SCHEDULE AN APPPOINTMENT: -Check website Wednesday thru Friday between 1pm-3pm (It's a first come first serve. The up coming week is released on either of these days) -You are able to schedule more than 1 appointment under the same login, just change the name/birthdate info (I was able to schedule for 3 of my family members) I scheduled my husbands on a Friday at around 3pm. By 6pm the schedule was full. Hope this can help whomever needs to schedule an appointment, as I have been there and was super frustrated with the website. ORIGNAL POST NO star! NO star at all! The worst. I have seen other complaints similar to mine. They don't answer the phone and the website to make an appointment is the worst. Super frustrating!! Does not work half the time and they give a week notice of what is available. I was able to connect them thru Facebook Messenger so if need be hit them up there, maybe getting lots of messages will help get the message across that they need to figure it out. Good Luck if you can get anywhere with them.
