I ordered the Full Ultra Wool Futon alone because I already had a metal frame & loving it! They also have really nice modern style futon frames that show alot of craftsmanship that are really versatile. When I opened my new futon it was like opening a Birthday present & feels fatty as described for added comfort. I have back issues along with Neuropathy so I need luxury comfort like this beautiful mattress. I will just keep it in the Couch position because Its so amazingly comfortable.

Excellent experience. This is hands down the best price, highest quality, kindest people in the business I've ever met. Jay, and John were both excellent to work with, and I really appreciate both going out of their way to answer all of my questions and work with me. Posting this review after purchasing my third mattress/futon from these folks - my first was back in 2013 and I have been incredibly satisfied with the products through the entire time I've owned them. My new bed is gorgeous, sturdy, and silent! They worked with me to find a custom stain that would work with my dresser. It was easy to put together too, you don’t need any tools (apart from the included hex key).
The fine folks at Rock Soft made us an Ultra Wool firm mattress to order, done within a few hours of ordering. This mattress has been a giant relief for my lower back/hip issues, and at a fraction of what we would have paid for a conventional mattress. Futons rock! And so does Rock Soft.

A fantastic, locally owned company in Portland. After looking online, I stopped by Rock Soft Futons. I worked with John who was very friendly and great at listening to what I wanted and needed. John walked me through everything- set up and tear down as well. They even assemble!! Came to my house personally to set it up and show me how it works. Great futon- soft, comfortable and very easy to lift and lower with one person. Aside from high quality futons, they make beautiful, custom shelves. Great prices too! Very pleased with my purchase and happy I decided to go with Rock Soft Futon :)
We are so stoked! About 5 years ago we had inherited a gently used futon from a neighbor that had a Rock Soft mattress. It was the central piece of our busy home and lived through three dogs more housemates than we can count. We just replaced the mattress for the first time and it's perfect. We even ordered a second one for a separate loveseat to upgrade our existing seating. The foam reinforcement makes it perfect for everyday use. Plus they are super communicative and supportive of their customers. Awesome experience all around - Rock Soft is the real deal!
Jay at Rock Soft Futon helped us out! We came in to just look and left buying a futon and frame. He helped us put together the frame and loaded up our truck. Great customer service and very knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.
