This is an excellent place to wash down hearty, Bohemian pub fare (along with American favorites) with cold, Czech pilsners on tap. The Bohemian Hall offers ample, outdoor seating under beautifully mature trees in its true, European-like beer garden. This spot is hard to beat after an afternoon strolling through nearby Astoria Park. Shows, live music, and sport viewings happen here as well. Don't let the poor press from politicians deter you from visiting this business!

Authentic Czech beer hall that has been a staple in the neighborhood for years. Good beer as well as other spirits. The menu caters to many different tastes. Large outdoor seating area which is great for groups. The interior bar is a very good place to get a beer as well. They also have a full dining room inside for meals.

I didn’t realize they were open in the winter. I’ve only been in the summertime. Since they have a huge outdoor space, this was great. - tables were really spread out. Tables weren't packed so people were really spread out - everyone that wasn’t sitting down drinking wore a mask. The people working there wore the masks correctly which I greatly appreciate. - tv on one side (I’m guessing they have games on). - some tables had heat lamps and covers - every other bathroom stall was closed to provide more distance. - food was great. I had the cheeseburger with fries. - beer was great. Great recommendation by waiter

Good beer selection. The bouncers and greeter at the door can use a lesson on social skills. The waiters make up for the apes at the door. Chicken wings and fingers are crispy deliciousness. Avoid the ribs unless you want to waste your money and eat hastily boiled meat masked with bbq sauce.

The outdoor seating was amazing. Varieties of beer plus full bar on top of that snacks and some food options as well. There was happy hour as well although we werent there during happy hour. Bartenders and even security guards were super friendly and welcoming. The only reason to remove one star was when server closed our tab on the card that we just left at bar to open tab on. Without informing us brought the settled check in our table not asking for permission to use our credit card, which was not professional at all although server was cheerful and friendly. However will b back for sure.

Excellent service. Very professional and always mindful of social distancing. The was better than expected for a "bar". The pretzels are perfect and I loved the monster burger with portobello mushroom on it. The beer as always is great. They are family friendly so you can bring your kids.

Writing to combat Tony’s negative review. Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden is a phenomenal venue for all and any, and is quite frankly the best place to go out and socially distance in Astoria. Tony Spitz doesn’t know what he’s talking about and is probably upset one of the great looking wait staff didn’t give him the tip (maybe the shaft too). Five-star place, five-star service and five-star beer. No question about it, Tony was having a bad day. Take his review lightly if you choose to take it at all.
