I reached out Tim J. earlier this summer and explained exactly what I was looking for in a play set suitable for toddlers. He recommended that I purchase a Rainbow Play System for my back yard. The play set was installed carelessly and I began to have issues almost immediately. He came to my home two separate times to re-calibrate and make other hardware adjustments. However, I continued to experience issues with the set. It was apparent that after minimal use, the structural integrity of the system was compromised. The beam and main support moved intensely with every motion of the swing. I did not feel comfortable allowing my kids to utilize this play set for safety concerns. I reached out to Tim and he became irate / unprofessional. In addition, he insulted me by questioning my ability to finance this item. My attorney recommended that I take them to small claims court in order to obtain a remedy. To others considering purchasing a Rainbow set for their little ones: please proceed with caution.

Stopped in today and met with Tim, the owner for the last 3 years. The showroom is fantastic as they have built swing sets, trampolines and every playground set you can think of! I love that you can bring your kids to play for a small pay. Great winter activity. Best place to buy your outdoor playground equipment. 2nd location is in Naperville.

All I can say is WOW! Heard about Rainbow from a friend who also had a super positive experience and decided to take a drive down and check it out. I brought my son into the show room and at first glance he was already halfway up the stairs ready to slide down. The show room is a super pleasent place and great way to see what you are getting. Tim was extremely helpful in assisting me making my decision. Delivery was scheduled the same week and installation was flawless. The crew came and my playset was up in less then 90 minutes, was thinking it was a full day job Was extremely happy with the experience. And highly recommend!

Just purchased our new swing set from Tim at Rainbow in Vernon Hills. He was helpful in answering all of our questions patiently and without pressuring us. I shopped around a bit and yes Rainbow is a little more expensive but the quality makes it obvious why. Also, while their play sets might cost more, their installation is way less than the competion so it evens out. I am confident that I made the right decision on a swing set that will last my daughter's entire childhood and beyond. It has features great for a young kid and ones she will grow into as well. Fun for years and years!!
