Steven was a great help in diagnosing the issue of a bad AC adapter and why it was that my laptop would not boot up (it was out of juice and the faulty AC adapter didn't help). He also re-installed Windows and tightened the screws on my laptop. Overall he was very helpful and even listened when I said that I wasn't looking to pay more than 100 for this repair, seeing as I would be using this as an extra laptop and not my primary computer. He focused on the important things and made sure that I paid no more than what I expected to pay. My only criticism is the lack of communication. This repair took 8 days and when I finally went to pick up my laptop I understood why (he had been opening it up multiple times, calling for replacements parts that were missing, etc). However, I dropped my laptop off on a Monday and was given a tentative ETA for Thursday. On Thursday I got no call from them so I called on Friday to be told that I should expect to hear something the following Monday. On Monday I again received no call, so I called the next day and was told I could pick up my laptop at 4:45pm. I was slightly annoyed that it felt like I needed to keep following up, but in the end it turned out fine.

Surface had crashed and tech got everything up and running for a fair price. I called back months later because I never was able to get Verizon email to automatically load after he fixed it. Tech got email up and running without a additional charge a definite recommendation.
