I would say this is the best six-pack boat in San Diego! The crew is very knowledgeable and courteous. They really seem to go out of their way to make your trip enjoyable. I brought my two young sons along with me on one trip and the guys didn’t mind untangling lines and would hand them a pole that had a “fish on” to give them a chance to reel one in. I have done trips on a few of the other boats in San Diego but keep coming back to the “Reward.” The boat itself is newer and much more comfortable than you expect on a fishing boat. The owner (Kevin), who captains the boat himself much of the time is very pleasant to talk with and seems to know all of the “secret” spots even when other boats are coming up empty. I highly recommend chartering a trip on this boat, especially during tuna season!
