By far the best outfitter on the Eleven Point. We have been using Richards for 37 years.

The countryside was lovely, but the equipment was subpar. 3 of us went on a 3 day float down the river in 1 canoe & 1 kayak. The kayak didn't have a seat & a missing drain plug. The canoe had previously been damaged with a 5" portion of the hull that was ringed with caulk or epoxy. This was not fully watertight & we began taking on water within hours of setting out. The 11-point river is not for the faint of heart & it was very challenging to navigate the fast waters & obstacles with less than seaworthy vessels that we had to continuously bail out. We put our lives in the hands of this livery with the understanding that they would provide proper equipment. Such equipment was not provided.

Went for a group camping trip it was a wonderful location. Flat well maintained. The service was great and room were sweet and simple with ac, hot water, and a mini fridge we had one with 3 beds. There was floating and also a swiming spot close enough to drive to. Richard was super nice and it was a perfect spot cant wait to go back again. Here's some pic of the swiming spot which is about 2 miles down a dirt rd near by.

Do not use Richard's. River was beautiful and decently challenging and lots to see. Great water temp too especially for a spring fed river. So I give it 2 stars for that, but ONLY that. Richards canoe rental cabin/campground, the customer service, and the quality of the equipment was very poor. Pricing was a surprise, I might have just misunderstood the lifejackets but we ended up paying a large amount for life jackets (Over 120 for 3 adults for 2 days?), and had I known I could have easily bought my own and covered the expense and then some. Of course we drove from out of town so had no choice but to rent them. The canoe we ended up with had a patch and was slowly leaking the entire trip. The Kayak we received had no seat, and it was missing the drain plug so it sank a couple times while on the river. The paddles were in fairly rough shape but functioned fine. While the prices seemed reasonable at first I feel like we got shafted. The customer service was not good at all. The only guy who kind of friendly was the guy working the register at the cabin/rental store. He gave us some guidance on the river and places to stop and check out, etc. The guy who launched us, basically didn't help load our stuff up at all. He just stared at us while we loaded it up. He didn't give us any guidance on what to look out for in the river, and he barely helped load us out when we were launching. Pretty much just bailed as soon as the truck was empty. After one of the times the kayak sank with me in it, and a random group of people on the river saw me, a guy helped me get situated and strongly recommended I never use Richard's if I ever come back. I won't be. Don't use them.

Very quiet, we had the whole camp to ourselves just after the 4th of July. We camped in a tent and were frequently visited by a dog named Dan that hung around and was very pleasant. Everyone was very nice and professional. It felt so easy, sleeping, relaxing. The bathrooms work, but dont expect much. Prices are cheap and they drop you off, pick you up at the river and give much needed advice on what parts of the river are dangerous. If you are going to rough it near the river, consider Richard's, and I hope your stay will be as enjoyable as ours was.

Great place to camp! Canoe was great, put in and pick up assistance was also great. No frills as far as restrooms, but great camp none the less.

TERRIBLE! I hired this company for a shuttle service over labor day weekend. They locked my keys in my vehicle and didn't have a solution for getting them out. VERY unprofessional outfit. Hire at your own risk.
