This terrible place sent me to collections when they were paid. They told me they accepted my insurance only to hit me with a 1300 bill that again, was completely paid!!!! Their record keeping is clearly a complete joke. They said I was stopped making payments when I payed the amount in full... I have a bank statement to prove it and they still will not back down. The billing woman I spoke with in hopes of resolving this mess was extremely incompetent and combative. When I called the collections agency, the woman was much kinder, and even admitted that she could see I paid them and that they have had a lot of issues with them... I am still being sued for the court costs alone despite paying them because of their disorganization and a sneaky form they had me sign. This is so completely unethical and shameful. Also, they were zero help in resolving my stomach issues. Dealing with them has caused me an insane amount of anguish. Do not go here.

I worked at the Staples Mill location through a temporary job. I had moved here from another state, both the temporary job and Gastro knew that. When the Covid-19 came in March they had a meeting with everyone about how they were going to be laying off and doing other things with the employees because they were going to not having patients come in unless an emergency. They told me that temporary people would be the first to go (which I already knew) but that we would be coming back once I guess everything subsides or once they would start letting ppl come back. Well, I called my temporary job at least twice a month to check on my job, and finally in July/June they emailed me and said that they sent all my belongings back to them, so I said well does that mean I’m not going back, and in so many words she said yeah, but they didn’t tell her why! I loved that job, I prayed for that job. The job was very very hard, but I tried my best everyday I went to work. What hurt me is them knowing that I had just moved there with my 3 year old, and telling us that we were sure to get our job back, and then me not being able to go back, but when I went on indeed to start looking for other employment they were hiring and they had my temporary job hiring for them as well. I waited patiently on them to call me back from March to June with no worries because I loved the job despite, but for a job to do this to people at this time, I wouldn’t even want to work for a company like that again! I was so hurt because I thought that was the job for me!!

From the time I walked into the office to the time I was rolled out everyone I came into contact with was very polite, friendly and professional. Yes, I would recommend this location. Yes, I would return here. Dr. Talreja and the staff here receives 5 stars.

I realize some of these posts are 2-6 years ago but yesterday I went for endoscopy and was treated great from the moment I walked in the door till leaving. Everyone was kind and professional and some of the nurses and I even laughed together before and after the procedure. Was first visit and would go back

Ever since Dr. Monroe left this place has been awful. The people that answer the phones are rude and the Doctors don't have any bedside manner. I was sent to collections without even getting a letter from them just a phone call from a collections company that charged me extra. If the office had called I would have happily paid. I tried to get my records sent to my new doctor in Chesapeake and the person sending my records was extremely rude and kept sighing heavily into the phone. If you can go anywhere else even if it's a long drive you are better off than going to this place.

Dr. Alex Seamon did an excellent job with my endoscopy. I have never met a doctor so knowledgeable and kind. He is not quick to just prescribe medication without getting to the root cause. I would highly recommend him to anyone suffering from GI issues.

They kind of make you feel like you're wasting their time, the place is always packed I wonder why so many people are having stomach issues. The doctors are fine maybe hire new people up front?

First impression...not so good. Doctor Ellett was 50 minutes late to the appointment...the first appointment of the day...not just running behind. 2nd impression...Dr. Thanjan (another doc in the practice) did the endoscopy for Dr. Ellett b/c of location (required by our insurance)....Impression...Very poor. Not sure if he was in a rush or what but went ahead and started the procedure while our daughter was still wide awake! Even after the nurse told him she was still awake. This came from our daughter during the procedure...if she can tell you this information, she is not properly sedated. Hmmm...ever had an endoscopy? She felt like she was choking to death! And vomited several times. And he continued the procedure!. Want to get answers/results but don't think we will be going much farther with this practice.
