A MUST if you live or are visiting Riverside for lunch or breakfast. French toast is amazing and I had it over a year ago, it was memorable. Lunch is great, ai had the pesto sandwich and lived it so much. Their bread is fresh, friendly local experience. COVID experience was swift and easy! EAT LOCAL friends.

Hands down, a 5 star bistro for me and it has been a happening place since 1983. Located inside the Mission Inn Plaza, Simple Simon’s cooks up a palatable breakfast and ideal lunch dishes. Traditional breakfast from eggs, to chicken sausage, omelettes to bagels. And whatever you do, don’t skip their delicious, homemade whipped butter and house jelly. What’s for lunch? Their stars keep shining through with their healthy salad plates, soups, chili’s and specialty sandwiches. Superb vegetarian and vegan offerings are also available. Need more palate happiness? Try their fresh baked pastries and mini cakes. If you’ve never been here please don’t expect anything fancy but you won’t miss any of that foo foo stuff dining at Simple Simon’s. Stop by while walking around the Mission Inn, take a load off and enjoy dishes that are simply delectable. Take out is what’s accessible during this time. Tables and chairs are located outside of the bistro for your convenience. Hours of operation: Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. Closed Sundays. Enjoy and be safe always.

Turkey sandwich was tasty, well seasoned pasta salad. Very polite, young alternative crew. I was staying at the Hyatt, the walk was only two minutes. Nice and clean during covid-19. Great example of pandemic adaption.

This place is a solid lunchtime choice! Food is super yummy and fresh - quality was wonderful. My friend and I were looking for breakfast food but unfortunately, we got there a bit too late for breakfast. We arrive at 12 pm on Saturday when breakfast is until 11 am - that was definitely a bummer and it would have been nice to get some breakfast a bit later. We decided to stay and try their lunch options. I ordered a tuna melt with potato salad and she orders the croissant club with fresh fruit. We were both very happy with our meals. I would highly recommend both! The line moved pretty quickly and the food came out in a reasonable time. Super yummy and quick bite - I highly recommend!
