Has change ownership since the last time i was there, but the new owner is great. The rooms are really nice and not very expensive. Also is in the middle of some of the best riding roads for a motorcycle, and the dam Harrison Ford jumps off of in the fugitive is right up the road on Hwy 129.

We stayed in Robbinsville for a few nights and each night we stayed in a different hotel (just exploring) and even compared to the more "modern" places in town we enjoyed Phillips more than any of the others. It's single story so no neighbors to the top or bottom of you, you actually have a sense of being in your own space, it was very clean and well kept, the owner is amazing, you have sitting areas right outside your door so you can be inside or out comfortably. We will definitely 100% be back to Robbinsville and when we do, there won't be anymore hotel exploring, Phillips will be our spot for now on!
My partner and I wanted to do some hiking for our anniversary and this was the perfect overnight stay. The rooms are clean with fresh bedding. The surrounding area is quiet. The proprietor is a charming and kind individual who happily let me know, upon being asked, where the best places to eat were. Top it all off, the lobby and outdoor area is decorated in such a great way! I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
Love this place, been coming 20 years, clean, comfy, close to the Dragon and friendly....
Great service and roomy. Owner was nice enough to mail us a tablet I left in the room. Very friendly.
The coffee and sugar are in plastic ziploc containers. The water would not get hot for a shower this morning. The ceiling fan squeaked all night.....the smoke detector chirped the whole time. Bed linen smelled of cigarettes in a smoke free room. There was no TV guide in the room. The room was warm and the window unit did not work.
- - Found a necklace here on bed post in 115 - - left at office for hopeful owner to retrieve!! See Bill please. Stayed here for 2 nights while in Stechoah and it did the job. Room 115 was a small cottage like atmosphere - clean & comfortable. Shower is a little small but does the trick. Bill was very kind and helpful. Would stay again when in the area.
It was like home away from home. I asked for the same room and parking and the owner more then obliged. It has been 2 years and it is still a good, clean, safe, place to stay. They cater to the common traveler but really shine to the motorsport enthusiast. Still one of the best kept secrets east of the Mississippi!
