We go to a different river every year to find one we like. We loved this one! 2 waterfalls, lots of good places to stop to play in water or have lunch, shade over a good 50% of the river, the water flow was enough we didn't have to paddle sometimes, and there were a few fun spots to go through where the water had some small waves!! We plan to come back before the season is over with our 2 older children. The people at Run-a-Muck Outfitters were really chill and were on time. It was super easy to get on the water and they were waiting there when we got off. Easily, they were the cheapest we had been to and had the best river experience we have had! Thanks guys!

What a great way to spend the afternoon! This was our first time kayaking the Red River. Rentals are affordable, clean and excellent quality. They shuttle you and your kayak to the launch point and help you get all set up. Can't wait to go again.
This is definitely a fun kayaking trip 7 miles we went at the end of the season so it was quiet and beautiful. The kayaks where nice, had an issue with a paddle breaking off halfway through the trip but it more made for a funny story in the end. The price is great for how long you spend out on the water. Definitely recommend.
My friend and I had a great time on the Red River. It was listed as a 4hr trip but they don't rush you so we had plenty of time to swim and enjoy the scenery. I would suggest booking an earlier time if you want to relax and a later time if you are looking for a workout, since they do need all the kayaks back by a certain time. Enjoy!
Excellent experience. The reservation process was a breeze. You can make your selection of canoes or kayaks online with detailed pricing and equipment information. You pay online and can even fill out the waivers prior to your trip. The Red River was a seven mile excursion that was beautiful, relaxing, and tons of fun. The equipment rental featured top notch products in excellent condition. Definitely worth every penny. I highly recommend following their guidance posted about water shoes and bring plenty of drinking water. Tennessee is full of amazing outdoor beauty and Run Amok provided a wholesome and wonderful experience.
