I would say this place has some educational history!! It was a beautiful sunny day and a perfect time! My boyfriend and i really enjoyed ourselves!! We got to tour in between the train rides and learn some things! and when we got back to the station, we got some souvenirs to bring home to remember this day by!! Loved it! so this got 5 stars!! great day!!!

I volunteer here and it’s phenomenal! Perfect place for a family outing especially around various holidays. There’s also events catered more for adults that feature local breweries. If you’re interested in learning about train operations and want to volunteer all are welcome! I never thought I’d be learning to operate a train but the other volunteers are very knowledgeable and supportive.

This has been something ourselves and our children had been looking forward to since we moved to the area last October. We finally made it this past Saturday since I had a little extra unexpected money and also the kids had never been on a train. The tickets are pretty pricey for a family and it wasn't at all what we expected. A little disappointed but it's still cool and informational i guess. The only reason that I wasn't to upset about spending the money while not being to thrilled is because it was rebuilt and completely ran all by volunteers. I also believe that the money went to the veteran's but I'm not entirely to sure. We would have loved to experience a little more of a train ride and not so much of being dropped off in a little area in the middle of nowhere with a group of people for 30 unexpected minutes.

Cool fall foliage but super loud and rowdy on train. Like high school cafeteria loud. Would of been more serene if quiet and peaceful.
