So delicious and great prices. I received some chichidango from a friend who is a loyal customer. I finally ordered online and it was so easy and quick. We got strawberry and mango today. So cute packaging and it felt like I was getting a little gift with a bow. We'll definitely be coming back each week.

I was recommended by a friend to check out this Mochi shop in Japan town in San Jose, CA. It’s called Shuie-Do Manju shop @ShuieDoManju. They offer fifteen different kinds, but you have to show up early or certain flavors will sell out. I love how soft and chewy the Mochi was, the middle of it was bursting in flavor. It was not that sweet, which was perfect for me. It’s Mochi is 2, so it can be costly. It’s a great spurge if you like Mochi. @ShuieDoManju

Picked up some FRESH manju for my honey for Valentine's Day and be sure to go early or order early as they will sell out fast. I see that the manju are getting smaller size like many candies and confectionaries. I for one will pay more to get a normal size pieces. Still worth going to and enjoying this lost art so be sure to support this business.

Their mochi, manju, etc. taste actually quite good and offers a good variety of choices and flavors. I just wish it wasn't so expensive: each piece costs 2 and the total price really adds up, without any discounts offered if you were to purchase more.

A must try! Melt in your mouth goodness! They make the best rice desserts that are perfectly pillowy soft and just enough sweetness - the best we have tasted. The softest freshest mochi manju ever- defo coming back for more!

They have the BEST mochi in the bay for sure. Not too sweet but delicious. The red bean paste inside was incredibly tasty.

Finally got to try this place! Good varieties of mochi and other Japanese confectionaries. Highly recommended if you're into traditional Japanese sweets (like red bean paste). Everyone likes the soft mochi, but don't sleep on the steamed ones - they're super delicious too!

Shuei-do has the best manju! They're like sweet little fluffy pillows of delicious! My favorites are the kinako, monaka, and strawberry chichidango, but everything is good! Family from Japan says it's very authentic! Support small businesses! It is a dying art!
