The food was amazing but the service was HORRIBLE. Right when the waitress sat us down and gave us our drinks, I asked TWICE for a lemon wedge for my water and she completely forgot. It wasn’t even busy there. She delivered our food but she did not give us silverware. We waited 10 minutes until she notice.#Not very professional

In the times of COVID it is challenging to know where to eat. We chose Metro because of their patio and because each time I had eaten there before for brunch, I liked ig. Today was no exception. My kid had the chicken tenders. These giant sized tenders were enough for three meals! Seriously, she could only eat one and she is a 15-year-old not a lithe kid. They we're on a mountain of perfectly seasoned fries. The tenders were freshly battered and cooked. They were real chicken breast. I had the chicken and walked. It is an entire half of a chicken perfectly battered and fried, tender and juicy. The wakes were light and airy and came with a large scoop of strawberry butter, spicy stop and maple syrup. I ate every bite! Three chicken was so good. The strawberry butter was interesting. We enjoyed multiple tells of the sweet tea and took one home in a to-go cup. I recommend Metro Diner. Every meal I have had there was pleasant and satisfying. And the service is impeccable. Our server last nigh night was friendly attentive and helpful. Most importantly, we felt safe. We will be back.
Sincerely disappointed with this visit to Metro. We ordered the fried chicken and chicken tenders plate. The chicken tenders were delicious, perfectly cooked. The fried chicken was disgusting! The coating was unusually dark not at all crispy and slightly bitter to taste. This inside was wet and soggy. It appeared as though either the grease that the chick got fried in was old or the chicken was not freshly prepared. I'd visited this same Metro Diner a year or so ago and had the chicken and waffles plate, absolute best fried chicken I'd ever tested. Sad. On another note the ranch dressing was delicious.
Do you like being seated and having to go to the host stand to get your menu after 5 minutes? Do you like having the server walk past you 6 times without acknowledging you are there? Do you like watching a party that arrived 10 minutes after you get service within moments of their arrival and before you've so much as been asked if you want coffee? Then this is the place for you.
Casual environment, had an awesome Server, the music playing in the background was relaxing - this morning it was classic songs from the 70's, 80's and 90's. The food items are not over the top, but every time I have had a meal at this location, it has been good, cooked exactly how I like my food cooked.
