My boyfriend had sushi and Loved it. Fresh fish makes for great sushi. I had the California roll, you could tell the vegetables were nice and fresh. Very yummy.

Best sushi in town. There are many delicious sushi bars in town, but this is my favorite. They do the traditional favorites very well, and also have a number of inventive, original rolls. Service is very nice and attentive. Atmosphere is very calm, quiet, and relaxing, perfect for a romantic date night.
I am extremely picky, and this is truly 5 star. The quality is unparalleled. Service, spectacular. Not just for Sarasota-- but nationwide. This is only 1 of 2 places I will even eat sushi in Sarasota. GO! you will not be disappointed. Leave the kids at home. This is a quiet place, almost disarmingly so at first.
Best sushi in Sarasota, by far. A little expensive, but considering you're getting REAL king crab on your rolls, worth every penny! And their sake bombs are awesome!
High quality fish. Very clean. Don't know if it's the language barrier. But the server seemed ditzy but very nice....
Enforce dress code after you pay. Really ?????!!!! If you don't like the way I am dressed don't serve me. But don't criticize after you served me and I payed.
Best sushi in Sarasota, hands down. BUT, not sure who determined the two dollar signs--Vizen is expensive!! The two of us never leave there for over 110.
we had a wonderful dinner here. I am extremely picky about food and this restaurant came through with flying colors. The whole experience was fantastic. Perfect waitress, perfect food. Partner had the salmon dinner which was cooked to perfection. Other dishes (I like small dishes to taste lots of things): seafood miso (great), seafood roll (ditto), agedashi tofu, one of my favorites, was very good but the dipping sauce could use a little more flavor, the house salad was large with prefectly fresh greens and unlike some other Japanese restaurants was not drenched in dressing, very very good. We will return to try the sushi which we normally order but this time wanted to try some different menu items. Atmosphere: perfect. Music was peaceful not too loud and obnoxious. Perfect temperature too (another pet peeve). The food presentation is WAY above any other restaurant we've been to, more like a 5 star hotel restaurant in Vegas. Very pretty and very tasty. Dress code: yes they don't want gym clothes but shorts would be OK. Just don't look like you've just left the beach. Put on a shirt, some shoes and enjoy.
