This place is awesome. The breadth of things available is incredible. Going here makes me understand why wars were fought over spices. They have individual spices and delicious spice blends. The Hill Country Gunpowder Spice is easily one of my favorites, and it's unique to the Austin store. Manager is also super friendly and helpful in suggesting items. Lastly, their website is very functional with recipe ideas specific to your selection.

I find that their “Smoky Ghost” sauce takes an already savory dish to another level. I’ve mixed a bit of it into several things with success. It’s like adding MSG, but Smoky Ghost is so much tastier and gives a little kick.

I’ve always found Savory full of wonderful gifts for my salt-free folks and treats for me. I particularly want to thank Jasmine for remembering my odd California Citrus Rub request and setting it aside for me. The staff are friendly and willing to offer spice advice.

I always love the aroma when we walk in the door. I miss the samples they used to encourage, but it's still a wonderful place to browse and enjoy.

They stopped carrying something I liked (they did make an effort to help me with a modification of an existing spice combination they do carry) and don't carry something I thought would be a simple combination (garlic pepper without salt). Overall, a good shop with a wide variety of spices.

This place needs a staff that is willing to help the customer. My boyfriend and i walked in and was not helped at all or asked if we needed any help. I can take my money to another store. This store is not even worth a single . Thanks for nothing.
